Senior Customer Service Admin / Sales Administrator – Winchester – Full Time – Permanent

We are currently looking for a Senior Customer Service Administrator to join our clients team based in Winchester, who are a well-established business with a significant UK wide customer base to support its growth. 

This is a varied role encompassing a range of customer service, order processing and administrative duties, you will also have exposure and input into the continuous and strategic improvement of processes within the business. Alongside skill set, someone who is able to work well as part of a team is very important, joining them within the fast-paced, busy and vibrant office.

Lets tell you abit more about the role…

  • Continuous / Process improvement – ensuring any existing business processes are identified, analysed and improved where appropriate.
  • You will be processing inbound customer orders and quotations.
  • Managing and responding to inbound email orders and customer queries that may arise.
  • Order processing – you will ensure all orders are placed on the system in a timely manner, supporting the existing customer agreements that are in place.
  • You will have good product knowledge, being able to provide proactive advice to customers on products, deliveries, out of stock and associated alternatives where appropriate.
  • Supplier liaison – which includes returns, back orders and analysis reports for delivery discrepancies.
  • Managing orders from start to finish – tracking, processing and monitoring orders.

About you…

  • You have a strong attention to detail – able to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when carrying out tasks
  • A strong communicator – you have an excellent telephone manner able to act as the first line contact for customers
  • The ability to take responsibility for ongoing customer enquiries/ queries

  • Administration and Reporting
  • IT Literate - this is a PC dependent where you will be using Microsoft applications including Excel and Outlook, the internet and the company’s own back-office system.

This is a Full-Time opportunity across Monday to Friday, alongside a competitive salary; we are offering 20 days holiday (rising to 25 days) plus bank holidays and a healthcare and pension scheme.
