Internal Sales Manager
£40,000 – £43,000
This is an exciting role to work for an Underwater technology and Engineering Services company providing administrative support and coordination of sales processes in a technical commercial environment.
This is a permanent full-time role, offering hybrid working with at least 2 days in the office.
Reporting to the Sales Director, as Internal Sales Manager you will manage the Junior Internal Sales Coordinator, and your purpose will be to become the internal sales “super-user” of the CRM. You’ll also support with sales enquiries, product specifications, price data, performance metrics, and sales progress updates. Your duties will include:
·Supporting with the implementation of a new CRM system, responding to all queries and providing support as well as managing the dashboard, reports and metrics
·Collating and preparing sales performance information and data e.g., KPI tracking, forecasting variances etc.
·Reporting sales progress against targets via the CRM with Sales representatives worldwide prior to weekly Teams meeting reviews
·Using, maintaining, and updating the CRM system database, monitoring data, highlighting gaps, and suggesting improvements
·Supporting the Marketing team with lead generation, as well as strategic plans for market generation
·Monitoring and maintaining our sales intranet, ensuring all material complies with design criteria and information from internal departments (e.g., Production Planning) is up to date
·Managing and reviewing obsolescence
Essential Skills and experiences:
·Internal sales experience
·Extremely competent user of CRM systems
·Experience of collating and preparing numerical data gathered from varied sources
·Minimum 5 years’ experience providing administrative support and coordination of sales processes in a technical commercial environment
·Experience of collating and preparing numerical data gathered from varied sources (systems, reports etc.) for target audiences
·Proven customer-orientated attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Although not essential, experience gained in a technical commercial environment would be highly advantageous.
