Risk and Compliance Officer

Location: Woking

Salary: Competitive

Our Client based in Woking, Surrey is seeking a full-time Risk and Compliance Officer to work within their Risk, Compliance and Quality Department. The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality and Compliance Officer for Legal Practice to ensure that the firm complies with its regulatory obligations.

The successful candidate will also work regularly with the Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration regarding compliance relating to money laundering as well as helping to ensure adherence from all employees to internal risk management and quality procedures together with, external statutory compliance.

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent administration skills  
• Strong IT and technical skills  
• A positive, ‘can do’ attitude
• Qualifications in some legal capacity - a law degree would be an advantage
• Previous experience working within a legal firm
• Strong verbal and written communication skills   
• Excellent attention to detail
