This role of Marketing Communications Manager reports to the Head of Marketing - personality is key in this role.  This role requires an individual with a brand marketing background who can manage a small team as well as have a mix of marketing experience gained in a variety of sized companies ideally retail to gain a wide knowledge.  The environment is fast paced and ever changing and very competitive and although the hours are standard, this requires the individual to work hard and fast.  Strong brand experience is essential.  There is a huge amount of communication internally particularly remotely.

 

Job duties are summarised:


  • Working with head of marketing on development of brand propositions and responsible for monitoring their success
  • Day to day management of media suppliers and creative agencies
  • Management and roll out of retail site branding, signage & POS.
  • Ensure the successful execution of promotions

    Liaising with manufacturersManagement and distribution of all internal communications
  • Management of Public Relations agency and Social Media profiles


  • Clearly demonstrate an improvement in brand awareness
  • Ensure that all team members and external partners are clear on our brand guidelines and they’re adhered to.
  • 100% brand compliance in retail centres. Encompassing all signage, displays and POS.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Proven background in Marketing Communications and Brand Management
  • Proven experience to be able to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Experience in effective budgetary control
  • Experience in managing people
  • Ability to write clear briefs and identify the clear campaign objectives
  • Experience in reporting on marketing’s results and return on investment
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • A "can-do" ethic and commercially astute
  • Customer-oriented

  • Excellent communication skills
