Compensation and Benefits Analyst

1-1Recruitment have an opportunity for an experienced Compensation and Benefits Analyst.

The main purpose of the Compensation and Benefits Analyst is to take responsibility for compensation and benefit related projects, partnering with the Senior Manager Compensation & Benefits and HR team members to deliver compensation related services to assigned business organizations.  Responsible for pay benchmarking activities, including job matching, job evaluation, market pricing, participation in salary surveys and market analysis. Analzses and assists in developing salary structures for EMEAA.  This is a global organisation who are growing rapidly having just acquired another organisation – turnover is now in the region of £4 billion globally.

Responsibilities:


  • Partners with Senior Manager, Compensation & Benefits, US Compensation Team and/or HR Business Partners/HR Managers to deliver compensation services, ensuring adherence to policy and practices.
  • Manage and assist with compensation-related projects including European survey submissions and compensation studies (e.g. salary structure development and implementation, acquisitions, re-organizations, job family hierarchies, merit, bonus, car allowance/company car programs). 
  • Models costs and employee impact analysis and drives implementation of approved changes.
  • Evaluates positions for grade placement based on the content of the job and various salary survey sources ensuring that all relevant factors have been addressed. Compare jobs internally for internal equity and make recommendations for grade level changes.
  • Educates and informs the organization about compensation policies and practices and makes recommendations based on internal and external sources/best practice. 
  • Compiles, analyzes and interprets data to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness and makes recommendations.
  • Conduct periodic audits of Compensation data to ensure accuracy and compliance

Essential Experience Required:


  • Indepth knowledge of compensation theories
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and develop positive working relationships
  • Advanced spreadsheet and database capabilities are required
  • Able to inform and influence while working well with others in a collaborative team
  • Able to exercise sound judgment, set priorities and be organised
  • Able to deal with different levels of employees
