We are looking for a Finance Manager to join a growing company based in a beautiful location on the outskirst of Winchester/Andover to take responsibility for the management and processing of all company financial information during a period of maternity leave cover for 12 months. A car driver is essential for this location.
Reporting into the Operations Director and liaising with all internal colleagues, customers and suppliers as well an external accountant.
You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounts; establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information.
Main tasks of the role -
Ensure smooth cashflow management, including forecasting - making sure invoices are raised and allocate cash in a timely manner.
Manage bank reconciliations and process all payments - ledger balancing
Develop monthly reporting
Identify potential areas for improvement in systems and procedures
Quarterly VAT and year end preparation
Process credit card receipts, expenses and petty cash
Enter payroll journals on to Sage 50, dealing with external accountant and employees in queries
Manage all finance related admin/telephone queries and filingWe are looking for someone with proven working experience, alongside the below;
part-qualified AAT/CIMA - operational level
Full time hours 9-5pm Monday to Friday
