Customer Services Manager


We are working with a rapidly growing, global client to recruit a Customer Services Manager to lead and motivate their Customer Services team based in Basingstoke.

As Customer Services Manager you will work closely with key stakeholders, Sales Managers and external customers to support and grow the business.

Key duties of the Customer Services Manager:

  • Working with key stakeholders to drive increased business opportunities  
  • Acting as escalation point for customer services team
  • Coach, lead and motivate the team
  • Setting and monitoring of team and individual quarterly objectives and KPI’s
  • Recruiting, training and retaining team members
  • Improving customer services department procedures, policies and standards

In order to be considered for the Customer Services Manager role;

Essential skills and qualifications;

  • Proven track record of managing a minimum of two customer service functions
  • Experience of motivating and leading a proactive team
  • Excellent written, interpersonal and telephone skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft packages
  • Customer and solution focused

Desirable skills and qualifications;

  • SAP B1 in a customer service environment
  • Institute of Customer Services qualification
