Offering an end-to-end service from the provision of insurance sales platforms through to policy administration and claims handling.   • Training and support will be provided in all company procedures
  • Working hours are 35 hours per week on a shift rotation, between 8am and 6pm. There is a requirement to work approx. 1 in 3 Saturdays, 9am - 1pm, as paid overtime.

Working in a friendly and professional environment, this position will include supporting customers for a number of different insurers by:

  • Communicating with customers predominantly on the telephone but also on a written basis via letter and email to resolve their queries and needs to a high standard
  • Issuing relevant documents, handle premium collection queries, arrange for refunds in conjunction with the telephone call as required in an accurate and timely manner
  • Working in a regulated environment where you will be required to be aware of and fully comply with the company’s Data Protection standard and other financial services procedures

The essential skills we are looking for:

  • Experience and/or relevant qualifications in Insurance are desirable
  • A high standard of customer care and communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and work within rules and regulations
  • To have a basic understanding of how insurance policies work/be able to pick up such information quickly
  • Computer and technical skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Analysis and problem-solving
  • Previous experience in a Customer Service/Call-Centre environment (would be advantageous)
