The role - Customer Service Advisor

Progressive company requiring an individual with key skills below as well as analytical skills and good with numbers.  Customer service background as well as a 'people person' character are essential for this role.

Hours 9-5 Monday to Friday, good benefits package


Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing

  • Managing Consignment stock process internally

  • Call and query handling including problem solving

  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle enquiries and complaints

  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries and follow up on customer interactions

  • Manage administration - keep records of customer interactions and transactions

  • Record details of enquiries, comments and complaints including actions taken

  • Liaising  with internal departments to resolve daily issues

  • Meeting targets and KPI’s as set by supervisor/manager

  • Process and resolve customer pricing and product queries

  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments including assisting the Credit Control Department with any pricing discrepancies (as required)

  • Proactively oversee and manage the back-order process where required

  • Develop quality relationships with potential and existing customers to distinguish the company from its competitors and provide excellent customer service

Key Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in Customer Service

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

  • High level of computer literacy including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of SAP would also be beneficial
