Legal Secretary (Conveyancing) Winchester £23 - £25k 1-1 Recruitment are working with a Winchester client who are seeking a Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their busy team. General secretarial support for one key team member and for other Fee Earners as required. ·Typing: using the digital dictation system to prepare various legal documents as and when instructed. ·Making online searches and Land Registry applications. ·Liaising with clients, solicitors and estate agents. ·Liaising with other organisations such as insurers, utility providers, valuers, local authorities and Land Registry. ·Using the online accounts system. ·File Management: Opening paper and electronic files, filing all papers electronically and hard copy, using the online database to record client/matter information and complete client due diligence. ·Archiving Files - Archiving client files regularly, completing required paperwork. ·Photocopying and scanning documents as required. *Assisting with reception duties as required with travel to another local office on an ad-hoc basis: answering the phone, passing on client calls, dealing with any cold calls or initial enquiries, passing on any messages by email. Meeting any visitors and dealing with clients due diligence paper.
