Our client is one of the leading providers of price comparison services in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a copywriter/content writer with around 2 years’ experience to join the in-house team solely responsible for all content output.
The ideal candidate will be a creative, versatile writer who loves linguistics and definitely knows their assonance from their alliteration. You’re someone who revels in working out how best to capture the attention of different demographics, and you enjoy everything from long-form articles to website microcopy.
In your role, you will be tasked with researching and writing about multiple industries, including TV, energy, broadband and mobile phones. You will compose original content including press ads, guides, news and reviews, and be given the opportunity to write creative editorial.
You will often be tasked with finding new ways to promote the same products and services in the press, so being naturally and relentlessly innovative is key. On the tech side, experience with content management systems is essential so you can slot straight in. An understanding of SEO best practices is also highly desirable, and would certainly peak our client’s interest.
