Helen Floor

Helen Floor is the founder, MD and passionate driving force behind 1-1 Recruitment.

Helen founded 1-1 Recruitment to address the gap in the market for a personal service in the commercial market. We went rapidly from strength to strength, gaining new customers and a large network due to its core values of working 1-1 with clients, working 1-1 with candidates and providing a personal service. These core values remain central to 1-1 Recruitment’s culture, one of the reasons why candidates and clients turn to 1-1 Recruitment and develop long-term professional relationships.

Helen is highly qualified in HR and as a Life Coach, with extensive experience of the recruitment industry across a range of markets built upon an earlier career in the legal and construction industries. Helen’s strengths lie in recruitment, headhunting and life coaching, tapping into her extensive network, particularly within Hampshire.

Demonstrating the key aspects of the 1-1 Recruitment culture, Helen is trustworthy, sincere and honest. She is passionate about people and their development and has a lively sense of humour which enables her to tackle even the most challenging of events.

Helen remains very hands-on with the business, ensuring the core values and individual 1-1 approach remain constant at the very heart of the business offering.

 

 

Sarah Mills

Sarah Mills

Sarah Mills is the Director responsible for the operation of our business. She works closely with Helen Floor, our Managing Director, in ensuring that the core values and individual 1-1 approach remain constant at the heart of our business offering.

Sarah’s business experience spans a wide range of roles from Sales & Marketing Director to Commercial Director and she has been responsible for many departments, including sales, marketing, supply chain, buying, technical and operations. For the last ten years Sarah has worked for a FMCG company, turnover £120m, supplying industry leading supermarket retailers.

Sarah’s experience managing and motivating large teams, delivering technical excellence, understanding customers business, and controlling targets to deliver on time and budget ensure she understands and can deliver what 1-1 Recruitment’s clients and candidates are looking for.

Sarah is a highly driven and innovative individual who enjoys a challenge. She believes in running a business wholly focused on client and candidate needs.

Gemma Ryeland

Gemma Ryeland

Gemma Ryeland is our HR consultant, passionate about recruitment with a keen interest in marketing. She is responsible for our HR and Management recruitment. Gemma also takes a lead in client development.

Gemma is a passionate specialist, extremely dedicated, motivated and keen to fill all roles, however challenging or unusual. Clients and candidates benefit from her organised approach and unsurpassed communication skills. Gemma finds working with a variety of different people stimulating and rewarding, and as such delivers the focused 1-1 approach upon which we pride ourselves.

Gemma’s in-house HR experience is a bonus to clients whose busy, pressurised dynamic culture she truly understands. The powerful combination of Gemma’s HR and business experience enable her to deliver strategic advice on recruitment processes and methodology alongside personnel development tailored to an organisation’s specific requirements.

Gemma is also our resident expert on recruitment development. Her excellent market knowledge and specialised skills deliver to our clients the latest advice in employment law, salary levels and market demands. She produces regular bulletins for all clients to keep them ahead of the game, and delivers tailored advice and strategic assistance to clients on a 1-1 basis.

Odette Dougan

Odette Dougan

Odette is responsible for the commercial division including permanent, contract and temporary roles.

Odette’s strong recruitment experience across a wide range of roles in multiple markets reassures candidates that she understands the diverse workplaces they will work in, whilst assuring clients of her ability to quickly understand the varying requirements of the roles.

Odette delivers a very high level of service. She is passionate, enthusiastic and tenacious, always striving to deliver the best. Clients and candidates will benefit from the 1-1 dedication she brings to the business. She has a very consultative approach, thinks out of the box and brings fresh perspective and ideas to solving client’s needs.

Odette is extremely driven, not afraid of hard work and firmly believes that success lies in results, reflecting our 1-1 approach to achieving what’s right for our clients and candidates. Her honesty and ability to keep things on track reassure clients that they can leave their recruitment needs in her capable hands, safe in the knowledge that every element of their requirement will be achieved.

Emma Noon

Emma Tatlock

Emma Noon works within our commercial team, supporting both permanent and temporary roles. Emma is currently on maternity leave.

Emma has over a decade of experience in recruitment for office and temporary roles, having worked both agency-side and in-house for a range or organisations serving different markets, including financial services. Emma’s extensive experience includes setting up from scratch specialist recruitment sections for commercial roles.

Emma’s strong recruitment and HR background combined with her extensive experience of candidate sourcing and matching promote the 1-1 culture of long-term relationship building with both candidates and clients.

Emma’s style is approachable and friendly, and she is a good listener, all of which combines to ensure the optimum match between candidate and client requirements, experience and culture.

Emma embraces new challenges with speed and attention, assuring clients that roles will be rapidly advertised and filled by the best, most appropriate candidates in short timescales, delivering the continuity of the client’s business and culture.
