The general prediction for the first part of 2012 is the labour market will remain fragile, however, it is important that we
do not talk the jobs market down, especially as employer confidence is the
principal driver for job creation.

At 1-1 Recruitment, we are finding although our clients are currently cautious about permanent hiring, a significant number
will consider bringing in new staff over the coming year.

The temporary and contract work market remains strong at 1-1 Recruitment and the recent REC/KPMG Report on Jobs shows that
monthly temp billings have continued to increase over the last year and 80 percent of employers are planning to increase or maintain their temporary staffing
levels over the next 12 months.

Our client base across Hampshire have been active in the past month with many roles across our specialism of HR and
commercial roles (up to £50,000) however we are finding there is a mismatch on current skills available which means that many employers/recruiters are
actually reporting a shortage of suitable candidates.

Our priority for 2012 therefore is candidate attraction.

With the internet age candidate behavior has changed and candidates expect and demand instant access to our services and the
ability to manage their application on-line.  Increased competition for scarce skills and resources mean that speed and service is of the essence.  We spend
our time proactively sourcing candidates in advance of our client’s needs.  1-1 Recruitment also has a high profile at job and recruitment fairs and with local networking associations and provides complementary HR legal events.
