1-1 Recruitment have an opportunity to join a leading independent provider of insurance .We are looking for a Claims Assessor whose individual contribution can make a real difference.
Knowledge of Claims is advantageous and although a good academic record is preferable, more important is the ability to absorb and understand how processes work and the skills to negotiate claims to settlement.
Working in a friendly and professional environment, this position will include supporting our insurer and their customers by:
• Assisting in the assessment and validation of Healthcare, Accident, Sickness and Unemployment claims • Computer-based evaluation of the presented claims • Assisting with incoming calls from claimants • Making outgoing calls to third parties
The essential skills we are looking for:
• A high standard of customer care and communication skills • Excellent attention to detail • Excellent work ethic • A sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to use in-house computer systems (training will be provided) • A-Level/Degree level education or strong academic background • Experience in an office/workplace environment would be desirable
