1-1 Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to work at our clients Head Office in Basingstoke.
The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for:


  • Providing planning analysis and support for all planning activities throughout the supply chain including QBR’s, PBR,’s and S&OP. 
  • Compiling weekly, monthly analysis on planning performance and in addition measure compliance to the relationship agreement. 
  • Support the Enquiry / Tender management process for print, polymer and security features.

The primary focus of the Supply Chain Planning Analyst role is;


  • To conduct planning analysis across the products
  • Support RCA of plan and delivery failures – track RCA trends and drive improvement actions through the central and site teams
  • Provide regular analysis briefings to Supply Chain and SBU stakeholders.
  • Submit and update Weekly and Monthly Reports and KPI Reports as requested.
  • Maintain and update capacity analysis tool (MPS) to assist with trend analysis, CAPEX strategy, factory optimisation and supporting the S&OP Process.
  • Be able to influence senior managers (eg site GMs) in driving manufacturing initiatives forward.
  • To provide contingency analysis & scenario plans
  • Assist with customer enquiries/ tenders, attend Bid meetings and prepare timelines for each of the active Bids.
  • Provide project support as required to the planning managers.

The sucessful Supply Chain Planne / Analys will:



  • Be highly numerate and comfortable with manipulation and analysis of numbers.
  • Have advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and use of logical functions Vlook ups etc.
  • Be a strong, pro-active communicator with the ability to communicate with all levels.
  • Be an analytical thinker and problem solver.
  • Have the ability to work closely with other departments and build strong relationships
  • Be highly motivated to succeed & ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Be a team player.
  • Ideally come from a Production/Manufacturing background.
