A new and fantastic opportunity has arisen to work as a Supply Chain Manager for one of our reputable, successful client’s based in Andover.This role is key to the business and will have a strong drive to improve existing processes with key objectives such as achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing supply and demand.The key duties include:·To provide leadership to the team so that the business and financial objectives are realised·To work closely with the manufacturing plants and warehouses to resolve SC issues ·Managing relationships between the Supply Chain and Purchasing teams·Maintain strong relationships directly with the Sales teams·Experience in KPI review·New Product Development·Actively engage in the SF and Op process on the supply side·Participation in the strategic development of Operations and SCThe ideal candidate will:·Have a Masters in Logistics or Business Administration or equivalent by experience·Have 5-10 years’ experience as a Supply Chain Manager or Logistics Manager in a multi-site environment·Experience with inventory management in consumer goods environment·Able to work with MRP software, MS AX·Understand capacity planning in a manufacturing environment·Understanding of quality certification·Able to integrate processes in the ERP system·Excellent presentation skills·Excellent communicator on all levels·Good business acumenThis is a full time, permanent position paying an annual salary of up to £45,000 depending on the candidate.1-1 Recruitment is one of the leading recruitment agencies for jobs in Winchester for permanent, temporary and contract recruitment solutions.
