Shipping & Spares Coordinator

On behalf of our client located in Basingstoke, we are currently recruiting for a Shipping & Spares Coordinator. Candidates will be required to hold previous experience in export and/or import of shipping goods and any experience with SAGE is beneficial also.
The main roles and responsibilities of the Coordinator will include:
•Ensuring delivery deadlines are met with exporting spares equipment to customer specifications
•Generate recommended spares lists for existing and new equipment
•Importing global goods
•Working with colleagues internally in order to ensure the equipment packing is done appropriates before shipping and specify packing materials
•Check and prepare documents to meet international customs and regulatory body requirements
•Ensure export compliance is met for all quotations and orders
•Making sure all contract documents are completed to company standard
•Speaking with third parties who are heavily involved with the exporting of equipment and goods. This will include freight forwarders, customer and carriers.
•Use Sage and freight forwarder documentation to produce dispatch notes and invoices
•Produce daily reports of all shipments and costs and undertake general administration
•Processing spares sales enquiries all the way from quotation to despatch.
•Check and prepare documents to meet international customs and regulatory body requirements
•Coordinate warranty orders for captial equipment
•Ensure orders are dispatches accurately and on time

The ideal Coordinator will:
•Strong communication skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•Be proactive to ensure you are generating new business and increasing the overall sales revenue
•Ability to work well under pressure, both individually and in a team
•Strong organisational, problem solving and planning skills
•Accuracy in the execution of all tasks and a very strong attention to detail
•Previous internal spares sales experience would be beneficial
•It would be beneficial to have a knowledge of MRP systems, however all necessary training will be provided so this is not essential
•Experience of export and/or import shipping of goods essential
