1-1 Recruitment is currently working on behalf of a Professional Services organisation who is seeking a Regional HR Advisor to join their growing HR team.

Role Purpose
This role is all about providing excellent HR advice, support and guidance to staff across 3 offices surrounding the area of Egham. The role holder will coach line managers on best practice people management and will work closely with the Regional HR Manager for the region to drive HR Plans and appropriate actions.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include:


  • Providing excellent guidance and advice on all employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, probation reviews and issues, flexible working, maternity, paternity etc
  • Managing recruitment from start to finish including job descriptions, sourcing, arranging tests and interviews, conducting interviews and providing support and advice on offers
  • Managing recruitment agency relationships – ensuring best rates and terms as well as best service from key suppliers
  • Driving great induction plans (in conjunction with line managers) for new starters
  • Supporting Graduate Recruitment– at assessment centres as well as attending and delivering presentations to local schools and universities
  • Being a key contact for staff on HR policies and practices
  • Advising and coaching line managers on all aspects of best practice people management
  • Delivering and developing soft skills training in the offices
  • Maintains staff records for the 3 offices including physical files as well as records of key metrics such as staff turnover and absence and reporting back to the Regional HR Manager
  • Conducting exit interviews across the offices and providing reports to stakeholders and the Regional HR Manager, identifying themes and recommending any actions
  • Completing key HR Administration for the offices including offers and contracts, taking up references, variation of terms letters
  • Being a key and active member of the HR team – getting involved in HR projects
  • Undertakes salary benchmarking as appropriate and makes recommendations
  • Facilitates pay review conversations

Skills and Experience


  • Experience in a similar role, professional services experience is preferable
  • Good knowledge of employment law and keeps up to date with changes
  • Fantastic people skills – happy to communicate with any level in the organisation and can tailor communications and approach accordingly
  • Builds strong relationships quickly
  • Well organised and able to multi task
  • Great team player whilst also comfortable to work autonomously at times
  • Flexible in approach
  • Good attention to detail
  • Takes the initiative and is pro-active
