1-1 Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing – Brand Manager to join our clients busy office local to Basingstoke on a temporary ongoing basis. 

As Brand Manager for a key brand in the growth cycle you will be responsible for the leadership, development, planning and delivery of key customer solutions and tactics for this important brand. You will also be responsible for making sure all activities are optimised through tight alignment and implementation to the customer plan, and leveraging multichannel engagement to reach key customer.

Main Accountabilities 
The brand in the UK is a key priority brand in the affiliate with very high exposure and is critical to the affiliate in the coming years. This role is a critical position and has a high degree of responsibility. 

The successful candidate will: 

  • Lead and develop key projects and programmes for a key brand in the UK and Ireland.
  • Be a core member of the marketing group, showing leadership and coaching of team members.
  • Use strong communication skills to manage activities across the broad cross-functional team in the development of customer programmes and projects for the implementation of key tactics.
  • Track and regularly report on progress, taking corrective action where necessary. 
  • Ensure deliver of the brand plan activities, managing marketing project budgets between programmes and projects.
  • Help the team from multiple channels to multi-channel with a particular focus on our digital offering through tight cross functional working with the team.
  • Ensure that all programmes are 100% compliant to ABPI Code of Practice, local SOPs, and GPP. This will include responsibility for marketing jobs for customer materials, briefings etc. through the PMAP process.
  • Previous knowledge and experience of Veeva Vault Promo Mats or Zinc.

Key Competencies and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and communicate clear goals and objectives for each programme and project and develop a clear measurement plan.
  • Use environmental, market, customer and competitive analysis to improve decisions and outputs for programmes and projects to deliver relevant and meaningful customer engagements.
  • Engage with the PRA, local and Global teams to ensure solutions are appropriate and aligned for the UK and Ireland
  • Ensure programmes and solutions align to customer needs as identified through value based selling
  • Lead on multi-channel NGCE approach to customer engagement and loyalty. 
  • Use in-depth insight into customers to develop effective brand communications.
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing tactics and adjust plans accordingly. 
  • Effectively partner with cross-functional team and partnerships to successfully execute plan. 

Essential Skills: 

  • A solid track record of performance in marketing 
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to plan, organise and prioritise. 
  • A clear focus and skillset relating to execution excellence.
  • A good to excellent working knowledge of digital channels.
  • Good presentation, written & verbal skills and customer relationship and management skills. 

Ability to assimilate complex information and translate these into implemental solutions.
