Hours 9.30-5.00 Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week with flexibility for events throughout the year evenings/weekends (time off in lieu provided)

Main purpose of the role is to lead the marketing and become the ‘go to’ for marketing in this role and work within the team to promote activities to a wider audience. You will be dealing with different types of people/businesses and able to deal with different situations.
Plan and publish an annual marketing and communications strategy, including advertising, PR and the promotion of events and activities. This should include: -A yearly calendar of events, themes and campaigns across different media. -A PR/communications schedule.
Plan and work to the yearly marketing budget, delivering objectives within the set parameters.
Identify and manage suppliers to help deliver projects in a timely and costly manner.
Implement and maintain regular reporting on statistics such as press coverage, social reach, website hits, KPIs and report these to the Board on a monthly basis.
Create, manage and circulate regular communications including B2B and B2C e-newsletters, annual reports, bi-annual newsletter and other relevant publications.
Manage all associated websites: Ensuring they are up to date with relevant content and information.
Manage and maintain social media platforms including: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In and YouTube.
Assist with the management and delivery of events, seminars and networking sessions.
Plan and implement appropriate marketing events or focus groups.

The post-holder will need to be able to show:
Copywriting and proof-reading experience
Ability to use design/mailing software such as Photoshop, InDesign and Mailchimp
Strong negotiation skills when booking advertising space
Creative flair and vision for new projects and services
Strong and confident presentation skills
Excellent time management
Project management experience
Event management experience
Ability to work as part of a small team and on your own initiative, to multitask and work to demanding deadlines in a busy working environment.
Ability to maintain and build effective relations with a wide range of stakeholders
