1-1 Recruitment is currently working with our client in Winchester who is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the small team in Winchester on a full-time, permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will have the ability and enthusiasm to a wide range of tasks, including accurate and efficient accounting service to clients and agents. Requirements include-
·Meticulous and accurate record keeping.·Methodical approach to all aspects of the role.·Confidence in using web and Microsoft Excel (Lookups, Pivot Tables, Formulas).·Ability to work in a small team on own initiative.·A positive ‘can-do’ attitude to deal with unexpected ad hoc tasks.
·An individual who is innovative and shows willing to support the department move from a wide range of manual processes to improve automation. Good working knowledge of Sage Financial would be ideal.To be considered for this role you will have AAT qualification and at least two years experience in an accounting role is essential. You will also have a sound knowledge of Excel and MS Word. Ideally knowledge of Sage Financial would be an advantage. A high standard of customer care and communication skills.
