Job Description:
You will be providing support and assistance to customers’ and will be responsible for representing them in a warm and professional manner; ensuring they have a smooth journey from query to quote, to purchasing a policy and after sales care, whilst always maintaining the highest possible standards of customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To be the first point of contact for our customers and a brand ambassador for the company
  • Ensure all policies are submitted accurately by using questioning and listening skills to understand the customer’s needs and to assist with any policy queries customers may have. 
  • Use own initiative to make decisions and know when to seek help from the Team Leader.
  • To learn and retain detailed product knowledge. 
  • Maintain total compliance with Data Protection and adhere to company policies at all times. 
  • Contacting brokers to maintain effective relationships. 
  • After sales admin. 
  • Take calls from third parties including the police and action any requests via the website, email and CRM. 

Skills and Experience:

The ideal person will pride themselves in delivering an excellent level of customer service in all that they do. A clear communicator, they will be confident in dealing with queries on the telephone to ensure that our customer’s get the best service and best value for money.

  • Previous experience in a customer service environment is preferable, though not essential as full training will be given in a very supportive environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a polite and professional telephone manner 
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge 
  • Problem solving skills 
  • Accuracy in gathering and recording of all information 
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade A-C) including maths and English 
  • Basic IT skills using MS Office programs and email. 

Working hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday between 08.00 and 18.00.
