Business Unit Support - Endoscopy

Location: Basingstoke

Salary: £24k

I am currently recruiting for a Business Unit Support to work within Endoscopy for a renowned organisation. My client are looking for a proactive individual to come in and eventually make the role their own and fully account manage their own desk with the field sales team.

The main roles and responsibilities of the Business Support Unit will include:

  • Develop a full understanding of customers’ requirements
  • Assist Business Support Manager with weekly and monthly reporting where required

  • Proactive account management including pattern identification and looking at customer accounts
  • Occasional travel to carry out field visits with the sales team to enhance learning
  • Build strong relationships with customers by being the first point of contact for clients when calling for orders, complaints or queries.
  • Liaise between Sales, Customers & Engineers to ensure effective completion of customer support issues.
  • Maintain strong sales and customer relations through effectively handling customer complaints and ensuring appropriate escalation and action is taken by the Business Support Manager & Business Unit Manager.
  • Develop a key understanding of services and products provided by the company in order to develop a specialist knowledge.
  • Checking prices and contracts are up to date by liaising with the master data team
  • Responsible for Loan Stock Management & control within your business unit
  • Work with the sales team to oversee, manage and credit boot stock
  • Proactively oversee and manage the back-order process where required along with the Business Support Administrator

The ideal Business Support Unit will:

  • Previous experience in a busy Customer Service or key accounts management role
  • Knowledge of SAP Business 1 is advantageous
  • High standards of accuracy and attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Pro-active approach to workload, to be one step ahead
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Excellent IT competence, to include a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of CRM systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build, maintain and manage relationships both internally and externally
  • Customer focused and passionate is a must for this role
  • Flexibility and understanding of sometimes this is not a 9-5 role
