An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager this role will be either Full or Part-time.

The business development manager will be a key player in the continual growth of the business.  Our client prides themselves on offering the best service, outstanding quality, customer care and professionalism.

As a Business Development Manager, your job is to identify sales leads and be a key driver of the company’s business development activity throughout the UK market.

Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

To develop new business opportunities 

Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings with new customers, and defining capability requirements for services provided.

Communicating new product developments to prospective clients. 

Overseeing the development of marketing literature, and providing management with feedback from customers.

Manage and interpret customer needs by gaining a good understanding of the customers' development plans and by developing an excellent working relationship.

Win and develop business through experience and advice, be capable of writing and delivering proposals and presentations and have a solid understanding of business development KPI’s with the ability to deliver them.

Ideal qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Must have previous business development experience
  • Knowledge of the full sales cycle and experience with long sales cycles
  • Articulate, persuasive and driven to achieve.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong track record in B2B sales role preferably Risk and Compliance based business but not essential.
  • Experience of writing winning bids and tenders.
  • Outstanding conversation skills, commercial acumen and adept at uncovering prospects’ business challenges
  • Entrepreneurial with a problem solving mentality and positive attitude
