1-1 Recruitment are working with a local client to recruit for a part-time Book keeper working 4 hours a day on Tuesday to Thursday.
The Book Keeper/Administrator role is to assist the Finance Manager in the day to day management of the finances and administration, ensuring that all sales orders, and invoicing is processed accurately, on time.
Specific Responsibilities:1.Process all sales orders received by the company, following all relevant company procedures.2.Ensure all items within the sales order are dispatched correctly at the correct times.3.Process all customer invoices, via the sage and EPOS system in a timely manner.4.Check and process all supplier invoices, via the sage system in a timely manner.5.Produce monthly statements and reconcile.6.Debt collect on overdue invoices.7.Respond to and deal with ad hoc customer queries regarding invoicing8.Other tasks as directed by the Finance ManagerSkills and Experience:·AAT to at least Level 3 – with a minimum of five years working in an office environment·IT Skills – Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts is preferred·Must be PC literate with the MS office suite (Word, Excel & Outlook).Other attributes or skills that are preferred:·Good all round team player with a hands on attitude.·Must be a good communicator, both verbally and written.·Dependable, reliable with an eye for detail.·Well organised, able to prioritise workload to ensure strict deadlines are met, with little supervision
